The Scrap Chicks got together and made this card for a babyshower. On this card we used Rainy Day Hanna... Thought it would be nice to feel like she was showered with presents, maybe next time it will come out better if I have smaller gifts surrounding her. We used DCVW cardstock and glitter pack from Joann's. For the pacifier I used Fiskar's punch and the little pink flower brads came from Target. The Sentiment Congratulations came from a stamp set that I purchased from JoAnn's. Pink and chocolate was perfect to use because it was prissy and soft in a conservative way...Monday, May 26, 2008

I need it... Got to have it...
Here it is again, Hanna Stamps But I need it... This is my very first stamp I ordered from Hanna Stamps. It was my favorite stamp until she made another one and another one.. It is my favorite with long hair tho... I made this card for a co-worker who is always on the go and had to have surgery on her feet. She said that her favorite color was pink so I used pink Sparkly Glitter Glue that I purchased from Walmart. It was so easy to work with. All cardstock was from DCVW. I got the scallops frames from a lady that sold 25 of them in various colors on ebay!!!Wednesday, May 21, 2008

Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers of children or pets!!! Relax its your day!!! Today my son and I sat at home and created Mother's Day cards. He is truly an artist!!! My brother and I took my mother to Studio Movie Grill in Arlington, Texas. This is where you can watch a movie and have your dinner brought to you like in a restaurant. How cool is that???

Today is Ms. Dorothy May Phillips birthday. I hope that you are Rest in Peace Grandma!!! I never really knew how much you'd be needed around here until now. I know that I took for granted the time that I could have spent with you and now that you are gone, I wish that I could have that time back. But I know that you care with me in my mind and heart...

My Favorite Card
This is my favorite stamp. It's my version of Madame Butterflyy. I got it from JoAnn's. It's made from Stampabilities. The real name of this stamp is Prissy Penny. It is so cute and prissy!!! I made this using polka dot and metallic cardstock from JoAnn's. I got the brown ribbon from Hobby Lobbys Ribbon Scrap Bags. I added a gold button on the ribbon and abrown one on the flower. The buttons came from Hobby Lobby and the flower from Walmart!!! I used Distress Embossing Ink Brown to distress the edges of the card and the white flower. I love using polkadot paper with this stamp to compliment her dress I got the polkadot ribbon from Michaels for only a dollar!Edges and Markers...Embossing Stamp

Cosmobella anyone?
This is my first stamp that I purchased from Stamping Bella -Cosmobella. I made this card for someone that had graduated and needed a little drink!!! I purchased the citrus paper from Recollections. I accented it with ribbons from Michaels one dollar bin and also accented with flat sparks and tags from Tags 2 Go. I used the sentiment "Just for You" from JoAnns Quotes Stamp set and matted the Bella stamp with JoAnns glitter stack pack. The lips punch was from JoAnns as well and the gems were from Hobby Lobby multi gems pack. It's one of my first cards so stay tune to see how much I will improve over time...
